The large fireplace is perfect for those colder nights. The living area leads to a well equipped kitchen with all the usual cooking amenities including a cafetiere, large fridge freezer and plenty of pots and pans. The French doors from the kitchen lead to a private West facing garden with two sets of table and chairs.
There is a double bed in the first floor bedroom and two single beds in the second floor bedroom, both with super comfy mattresses (Simba and Hypnos). Please note, the cottage is over 300 yrs. old and we have tried to retain a number of its original features. The stairs leading to the top floor twin bedroom are very steep and while they are perfectly usable and safe, guests should be aware of this and take extra care when using the stairs.

Our cleaners have been retrained and have each been given an extensive check list, which they are advised to sign at the end of each shift. We have stocked up on cleaning products for both our cleaning team and our guests to use should they so wish.
As also noted above, the stairs leading to the top floor twin bedroom are steep and guests should be aware of this prior to booking.

We are more than happy to meet you at the property upon arrival, whilst maintaining a safe distance, however the property has self check-in via key code.

Our guidebooks have been updated to provide you with more detailed explanations of how the property facilities work, our recommended local takeaways, and the procedure to follow should you start to feel unwell.
